Job Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to the incidence, distribution, and control of diseases.
- Conduct statistical analyses to identify trends and patterns in health data.
- Design and implement studies to investigate health outcomes and risk factors.
- Monitor and track the spread of diseases within populations.
- Develop and maintain disease surveillance systems
- Provide timely and accurate reports on disease outbreaks and health trends.
- Conduct epidemiological research to understand the causes and impacts of diseases.
- Prepare and present findings in scientific reports, publications, and presentations.
- Collaborate with other researchers and public health professionals.
- Develop and evaluate public health programs and policies aimed at disease prevention and control.
- Provide recommendations for interventions and health strategies based on research findings.
- Participate in the design and implementation of health education campaigns.
- Advise government agencies, healthcare organizations, and other stakeholders on public health policy.
- Assist in the development and implementation of health regulations and guidelines.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of public health policies and programs.
- Work with healthcare providers, community organizations, and government agencies to address public health issues.
- Communicate complex epidemiological data to non-specialist audiences, including policymakers and the general public.
- Provide expert consultation on epidemiological matters to various stakeholders.
- Participate in emergency response activities for disease outbreaks and public health crises.
- Provide epidemiological expertise during public health emergencies.
Job Requirements
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Epidemiology, Public Health. MBBS are welcome to apply
- Strong analytical and statistical skills.
- Proficiency in statistical software and data analysis tools.
- Previous experience in epidemiological research, data analysis, and public health practice is preferred.
