Position: IFRS 17 Specialist / Process Consultant
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled IFRS 17 Process Consultant to assist in the ideation and assessment phases of our IFRS 17 implementation project, transitioning into the integration phase by early September. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in process mapping, data management, and IFRS 17 finance closure.
Requirements
- IFRS 17 Expertise:
- Extensive experience with IFRS 17, particularly in finance closure processes.
- Practical knowledge of IFRS 17 implementation from a process perspective is ideal.
- Technical Skills:
- Experience with Oracle migration projects is a plus.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to integrate and optimize processes.
- Process Understanding: Strong understanding of process analysis, mapping, and optimization within the insurance domain.
- Data Management: Proficient in managing and interpreting data related to claims, underwriting, and insurance technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Mapping: Participate to thoroughly map out the current IFRS closing processes.
- Assessment: Evaluate and assess the existing processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Design & Optimization:
- Design the future state ("to-be") processes for IFRS 17.
- Optimize processes for efficiency and compliance.
- Implementation: Assist in the seamless implementation of the optimized processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience with IFRS 17 process implementation and financial closure.
- Demonstrated ability to map, assess, and design optimized processes.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
