International law firm is seeking suitable candidate to join their finance team.
Responsibilities
• Manage clients & office account matters according to UK Solicitors Accounts Rules
• Review, clear and close client matter ledgers including clearing down balances
• Perform batch posting receipts, payments, petty cash and process multi-currency transactions
• Book keeping, review nominal accounts, post journals and payment of expense
• Maintain supplier ledger including input invoices, credit notes and issue payments
• Maintain the Counsels/Experts ledger and process professional disbursements for
local & international experts
• Perform bank reconciliation and generate Excel reports
• Calculate interest and process payment to clients
• Assist with credit control, liaise with fee earners and clients regarding outstanding payments
• Liaise with auditors and perform accounting administration
Requirements
• Degree/Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• Preferably with 3-5 years legal finance in financial analyst, accounting, billing,
budgeting, cost mgmt., client relations within law firms
• Knowledge with migration, transfer and posting of legacy database to new database
• Proficient with MS word, Excel, Power point, Aderant Expert
• Good spoken and written English
• Salary from $4,000 to $5,500/month
• 9am to 6pm, 25 days annual leaves, health insurance. Hybrid work arrangement.
