Job Description
- Develop the business of heavy construction and mining equipment (sales and services) in Papua New Guinea
- Oversee operations for mining, logging, agriculture or other business opportunities in identified countries within the Pacific Islands.
- Negotiate with government authorities on licensing and statutory requirements.
- Familiarity of export regulations, customs duties and logistics arrangements.
- Develop and implement business plan to attain Group’s objectives.
- Develop effective operations and overall productivity programmes.
- Monitor daily operation and performance so that staff can perform their respective task.
- Manage human resources and ensure staff follow company policies and procedures.
- Schedule regular meetings to update to Management.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Business Management or Commerce
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in business development in new markets.
- Must be able to travel for extended periods, when required.
- Initiative and self-driven to achieve Group’s objectives.
- Proactive in identifying market opportunities and problem-solving.
- Knowledge of mining, engineering and finance shall be advantageous.
- Excellent Communication skills with all levels of people, verbal and written.
