My client, a Tier-1 Insurance firm, is currently hiring for a driven Finance Operations Manager for a 12-month extendable contract to take on and lead an exciting project.

Experience within the Insurance/Banking/Asset Management industry is required.

Key responsibilities:
- Sitting in the Finance Operations team and liaising with relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth migration of the Finance back-end system, with a core focus on GL processes
- Ensure that data flow is accurate and reflected accurately on the new system
- Ensure compliance with Finance Controls and Finance Operations requirements
- Ability to identify process enhancement opportunities or areas with discrepancies and escalate to relevant stakeholders within the Finance team
Key requirements:
- 6+ years of Finance Operations experience within the Insurance industry ideal
- Demonstrated experience in performing GL activities like month-end close/reconciliation
- Candidates with strong SOX/Finance Controls / Finance Systems experience are also welcome to apply
