Job Description
- Assist and co-ordinate with SNM /NM in handling NUD Issues / Residents’ and family members enquires.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care as required by the Company’s quality procedures, guidelines, standard operating procedures and policy.
- Participate in orientation and in-service education programmes and supervise the care under his / her charge as required.
- Participate in any and all activities related to the smooth running of ward / unit.
- Identify competent Staff Nurse In-Charge / Level Supervisor / Staff in accordance to their job performance.
- Degree or Advanced Diploma in Gerontology / Palliative or Medical Surgical / Intensive Care Unit will be added bonus.
Areas of Accountability
1. Resident Care
- Accountable for nursing care given ensures that personal practice and that of staff under supervision meets standards of practice.
2. Administrative & Management Practice
- Ensure that all documentation in relation to all aspects of resident care management is accurately maintained (including investigation, analysis and reporting on incident reports).
3. Staff Development / Education
- Assist the SNM / NM to submit monthly Training Assessments / Nominations for staff under his / her charge for evaluation.
4. Occupational Health and Safety
- Maintain safe work practices and ensure a safe working environment which meets required standards.
5. Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance to the Company’s quality procedures, guidelines and policy. Monitor and report on non-compliance and implement necessary changes resulting from quality assurance findings in consultation with the SNM / NM.
