6-Month Contract for the role of Assistant Accounting Officer with the following
Job Description:
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly MAS reports/regulatory reports properly and promptly
- Prepare daily Nostro reconciliation
- Assist in necessary manual adjustments due to errors caused by the system or humans.
- Assist in monthly accruals, prepayments, and depreciation entries
- Assist in yearly preparation of financial statements and corporate tax return
- Assist and support external/internal auditors during bank audits
Requirement:
- Degree in Accountancy from a reputable University
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in accounting department, ideally in a bank
- Experience in and basic understanding of MAS reporting requirements and financial reporting
- Adequate knowledge of financial accounting concepts and principles
- Good MS Excel skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Positive learning attitude and hardworking
- Able to work in a team as well as individually
- Fluent in English and a major plus for another Asian language (Indonesian/Malay/Chinese)
