- Responsible for a proper contract administration of both the Main Contract and subcontracts including following up of receiving and making payments.
- Controlling plan, schedule and cost of the Works
- Formulate and maintain the cost control monitoring program for the project
- Drafting, reviewing and responding to the contractual correspondence
- Identify and prepare Variations and Claims reports
- Carry out all sub-contracts awards and purchasing in coordination/correlation with the Design Coordination and Construction Departments
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal requirements.
- Recognised Degree in Quantity Surveying or its equivalent
- Lead and mentor quantity surveyors and support staff.
- Min 5-7 years’ experiencewith at least 3 years in a senior role in Civil Engineering and Building works, prefarably experienced with LTA MRT projects.
- Well-versed and knowledgeable of construction contract terminology.
- Able to work in a team and support the Project Manager in contract administration and cost control.
