Job Description:
- Develop and execute Operational Risk Policy and Guidelines in accordance with regulatory requirements for areas like Operational risk incidents, New Product Assessments (NPA), Business Continuity plans and Third-Party Outsourcing risk assessments
- Partner with stakeholders and provide Operational Risk advisory across all products and services
- Directly assist Chief Risk Officer in formulating Bank’s Risk appetite framework and presenting Operational Risk reports to senior management
- Lead and set KPIs to achieve business objectives while ensuring compliance with the Bank’s Risk Appetite
- Conduct the Operational Risk Stress Testing in accordance with MAS 637
- Conduct the Risk Control Self Assessment (RCSA) exercise for the Bank
- Manage regulator, external/internal auditors reviews and queries
- Drive the implementation of new frameworks, ad-hoc projects
Requirements:
- Minimum 12 years of relevant hands-on experience in operational risk in a Financial situation
- Familiar with related MAS regulations such as MAS Notices 634, Guidelines on Risk Management Practices, Guideline on Business Continuity Management, Guideline on Outsourcing and other relevant guidance
- Experience in dealing with regulators, external and internal auditors
- Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Strong leadership skill and be able to lead and grow the team
