Responsibilities:
- Independently assess and manage patients referred for speech therapy, implementing appropriate treatment plans and documenting records accurately.
- Report to referring doctors and other medical team members, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Supervise Therapy Assistants (TAs) and provide technical support for commissioning, operation, maintenance, and decommissioning of medical equipment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare members, participate in case conferences, and support departmental Quality Control (QC) activities.
- Conduct regular inventory and equipment checks, assist in reviewing and updating clinical protocols and SOPs, and manage projects assigned to the workgroup.
- Actively participate in clinical research, promote and market clinical services, and contribute to the clinical education of speech therapy students and the induction of new speech therapists.
Job Requirements
- Recognized Degree in Speech Therapy recognized in Singapore.
- Registered with the Allied Health Professions Council.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Service-oriented and customer-focused.
- Result-oriented and a team player.
- Competent in IT skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint).
- Basic supervisory skills preferred.
