Your Mission:
- Uncover Opportunities: Identify and evaluate high-potential investment opportunities in the refining, petrochemicals, trading, retail, logistics, and lubricants sectors.
- Lead Deal Execution: Drive the execution of approved transactions, including due diligence, valuation, structuring, negotiations, and post-transaction integration planning.
- Build Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external advisors, and potential partners to develop mutually beneficial partnerships that align with our downstream growth strategy.
- Drive Value Creation: Analyze market trends, assess competitive landscapes, and develop business models that maximize value creation for our company.
- Champion Innovation: Stay ahead of the curve by exploring emerging technologies and identifying innovative solutions that can drive growth and efficiency in the downstream energy sector.
Your Expertise:
- Experienced Dealmaker: 9+ years of experience in downstream business development, with a proven track record of successful transactions in areas such as refining, petrochemicals, marketing, and logistics.
- Financial Acumen: Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, with a deep understanding of different valuation methodologies (DCF, trading multiples, etc.).
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to analyze complex market dynamics, identify strategic opportunities, and develop innovative business models.
- Influential Communicator: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Global Mindset: Experience working in a cross-cultural environment and a deep understanding of international business practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical preferred), Business, Finance, or Economics. MBA or an advanced degree is highly desirable.
- Professional certifications (PMP, CFA, CMA) are a plus.
- Proven experience in originating, evaluating, and executing downstream energy transactions.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and valuation skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
