ASSISTANT TEAM LEAD (NETWORK)

• Working Hours: Monday – Friday (9 AM – 6 PM) [Onsite]

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leading, coaching/ mentoring, and assisting team members in delivering Network & Security Infrastructure and Operations, mostly Level 2 – Level 3 (as per SLAs) covering followings (but not limited to):
• Enterprise IT Network (Administration, Configuration, Troubleshooting, Management, etc.) covering Firewalls, Routers, Switches, and Security Devices, Remote Access/ Monitoring of Network Devices & Firewall Management
• Vulnerability Compliance, Incident Management, Project Implementation, etc.
• Taking lead on Projects (e.g.: interpreting & planning Day 2 Projects), as and when there is
• Monthly and weekly reporting and documentations
• Other relevant duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma (or Higher) in Computer Science or related education
• Required to have minimum 5 – 7 years (or longer) technical hands-on working experiences in:

1. Configuring & troubleshooting (L2 – L3) with Firewall, Router & Switches, Intrusion Detection/ Protection Systems, LAN/ WAN implementation, etc.

• Proficient in following areas (L2 – L3):

1. Network technologies and protocols
2. Network configuration
3. Network utilization and performance monitoring
4. Network fine-tuning, incident troubleshooting, interpretation of statistics and traffic pattern
5. Firewall rules configuration and security setting and
6. IDS/ IPS, CDN implementation and IPv6.

• Advantageous to have any of the following certifications:

1. Cisco Certified Network Engineer (CCNE)
2. Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)
3. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
