Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Support Engineer to maintain and optimize our intranet and cloud systems. The ideal candidate will manage, monitor, and enhance the performance of our patient-safety critical systems, both on-premises and in the cloud.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform maintenance, updates, and patches on edge devices and servers.
· Monitor overall system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uptime.
· Respond to incidents, diagnose root causes, and implement solutions.
· Automate tasks to improve system efficiency.
· Ensure systems security and comply with regulations.
· Collaborate with teams for seamless feature deployment.
· Document system architectures and procedures.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
· 0 – 2 years of experience in a similar role.
· Knowledge of Unix/Linux systems and shell scripting (Bash).
· Proficiency in any programming language (Python, Go, Java etc.).
· Understanding of network protocols and troubleshooting techniques.
· Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work onsite with clients and be available on-call.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
· Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
· Experience with database management (MSSQL, PostgreSQL).
