Job Responsibilities:
- Involve in monthly financial closing and analysis of financials for Income and Expenditure (I/E) and Balance Sheet (B/S) statements including reviewing and reclassification of Internal Order of journal entries
- Involve in annual external and internal audits by working with Finance Shared Services and Users for queries and information requested by auditors
- Update and maintain monthly budget utilisation template (including IT budget) and address queries from departments to ensure effective tracking and managing of their budgets
- Prepare and liaise with Finance Shared Services and Business Owners on claims submission to MOH and funding agencies including tracking disbursement and reimbursement from MOH and funding agencies
- Assist in assigning and tracking of approved budget for furniture, fittings and equipment
- Assist in Financial Assessment of shortlisted vendors
- Involve in the annual budget and regular forecasting process
- Participate in system enhancements/implementations to align with new statutory or operational requirements
- Update and maintain finance policies, workflows and working instructions
- Involve in ad hoc projects as and when assigned
Job Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant with Degree in Accountancy or ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in similar capacity
- Have strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks to meet timeline
- Self-motivated with a strong interest in learning
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and working knowledge in SAP or Hyperion preferred
- Good interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels in the organisation and stakeholders
- Able to work independently and proactively resolve problems within established parameters
