About Our Client
Our client is a fast growing global pharmaceutical European company with an established market presence across the global markets. With a well performed revenue in the past 2 years, the business is looking to expand finance team in Singapore supporting the APAC markets.
Job Description
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
- Handling full sets of accountings
- Manage accounts receivable and issue invoices
- Manage accounts payable and perform reconciliations
- Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
- Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
- Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
- Communicate and liaison with different internal business partners about accounting matters;
- Prepare monthly/yearly GL closings and assist accounting team leaders about annual audit and other local statutory reporting (e.g. VAT);
- Assist with other accounting projects
The Successful Applicant
- Degree in accounting, finance or relevant field.
- Min. 3 years of experience in Accounting, individuals with external audit background seeking for commercial experience are welcome to apply
- Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
- Excellent organizing abilities and communication skills
- Great attention to detail
- Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g. SAP, SAGE, Kyriba, SAP Concur)
