Responsibilities:
- Process monthly payroll for employees accurately and in a timely manner using payroll software (i.e. Whyze).
- Review and verify timekeeping records for accuracy and completeness, and resolve any discrepancies as needed.
- Calculate and process payroll deductions, including taxes withholdings, benefits and other relevant incentives.
- Reconcile payroll data and prepare relevant reports for management as needed.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues and tax withholdings in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist with payroll-related audits and investigations as necessary.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate employee data and seamless payroll processing.
Prerequisites:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant payroll specialist experience, IHRP CA certified candidates preferred.
- Diploma in Business Management or its equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of Employment Act and WICA.
- Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office Suite (particularly Excel).
- Strong understanding of payroll tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
