Job responsibilities:
- Managing and overseeing the operations of the accounting department (3-4 Assistants/Executives).
- Ensure timely reporting of Management Accounts and consolidation Financial Reports.
- Budgeting and forecasting for the business
- Involve in statutory reporting, annual audit (internal & external), internal controls, tax compliance, etc.
- Handle and resolve queries
- Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policy and principles.
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
- Ensure thorough internal controls as well as business process to attain competency and efficiently.
- Improvement in Accounting and Financial management by control and report on the financial health
- Carry out project implementation or improve works being assigned by immediate superior.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Min. Diploma holder or Professional Certificate in Accountancy
- At least 5-6 years of relevant finance/Accounts experience
- Possess supervisory skills required
- An analytical mind
- A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data
- Ability to stick to time constraints
