Roles & Responsibilities
1. Safely operate prime mover trucks to transport containers, road tankers, and ISO tankers over various routes, ensuring compliance with traffic regulations and company policies.
2. Load and unload containers, road tankers, and ISO tankers securely, ensuring proper securing of cargo and adherence to loading protocols to prevent damage or accidents during transit.
3. Plan and execute efficient routes to optimize delivery schedules, considering factors such as traffic conditions, weather, and delivery deadlines.
4. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on prime mover trucks and associated equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and promptly reporting any mechanical issues or defects for repair.
5. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse personnel, and other stakeholders to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and any special requirements or instructions.
6. Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely and professional delivery of goods, addressing customer inquiries or concerns, and representing the company positively in all interactions.
