Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist the Manager, China Practice Operations with general coordination & communication on Chinese client initiatives.
- Assist with content development for presentations, proposals, pitch materials and Chinese publications.
- Assist with client meetings, delegation visits, event coordination for trips to China.
- Assist with client data management and documentation related to Chinese client development activity.
- Assist to establish a Chinese clients’ concierge for the Practice.
- Any other work as may be assigned by the partners in the Practice.
Requirements:
- Degree, preferably in communications/law or one of the humanities.
- Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin.
- 1 – 3 years of experience in Business Development, with hands-on experience in events administration and operations preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and EQ skills; ability to confidently interact with senior lawyers, external parties and clients.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate and coordinate across teams and functions.
- Work experience in business development and marketing in a professional services firm is an advantage.
