  • Conduct thorough inspections of the production line, comparing to specifications, measuring dimensions, and verifying functionality.
  • Champion food safety by enforcing good manufacturing and hygienic practices among food handlers and promptly reporting any non-compliance.
  • Monitor and maintain optimal environmental conditions in production rooms by controlling temperature and humidity and coordinating with contractors when necessary.
  • Ensure accurate measurements by managing the calibration and verification of all measuring equipment.
  • Proactively identify and remove any production equipment that does not meet safety requirements.
  • Monitor and manage critical control points (HACCP) throughout the production process to prevent food safety hazards.
  • Coordinate or conduct external quality analysis of products and water, including sensory, physicochemical, and microbiological testing.
  • Guarantee consistent sanitation by overseeing the implementation of standard operating procedures and maintaining the availability of cleaning materials.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to processed meat items, ensuring corrective actions are implemented and verified.
  • Maintain accurate documentation as required by the organization, and regulations.
  • Analyse data and evaluate production processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures to ensure continuous improvement in quality and safety.
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the QAQC Executive.
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Food Technology, Food Science, Biology, or a related field.
  • Experience in the meat processing industry.
  • Ability to withstand cold temperatures and stand for long periods.
  • Strong knowledge of and food quality and safety management requirements.
  • Not allergic or sensitive to food products.
  • Computer literate with proficiency in relevant software.
  • Positive attitude towards learning and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and take initiative.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
