Job Responsibilities

- Identify opportunities for AI to enhance business processes, products, and services.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of AI projects, from initial concept through development, deployment, and monitoring, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing AI team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities for team members.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies.
- Provide technical guidance and hands-on support to the team, ensuring the use of best practices and state-of-the-art techniques.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing, to integrate AI solutions into products and services.
- Partner with external organizations, vendors, and academic institutions to advance AI capabilities.
- Drive research and development of new AI models and algorithms.
- Ensure the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of AI solutions.
- Oversee the collection, preprocessing, and analysis of large datasets.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Implement robust metrics and monitoring systems to assess the performance and impact of AI solutions.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize AI models and processes.
Job Requirements
- PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Current or recent experience as an assistant professor in a university setting is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
- Deep understanding of machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
