Job Description & Requirements
- Able to handle full sets of accounts. E.g. account receivables, accounts payable, general ledger and etc.
- Perform daily bookkeeping activities. E.g. generating invoices and receipts for clients and etc.
- Responsible for month-end and year-end closing.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial and management reporting.
- Review the full cycle of monthly payroll which includes end-month payroll and CPF submission.
- Review/prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements and quarterly GST submissions.
- Prepare audit schedule and attend to the queries raised by external auditors.
- Review tax computations and liaise with tax agents to manage the tax filing process
- Liaise with external accountants, company secretary, tax authorities, law firms, and banks when necessary
- Involvement in projecting and forecasting. E.g. weekly cash flow report and cost analysis.
- Provide periodical financial reporting/analysis packages to management and stakeholders and attend to ad-hoc queries/requests
- Review, implement and improve financial workflows/processes to strengthen internal control and compliance and to enhance operational efficiencies
- Handle any other ad-hoc duties/tasks assigned.
- Potential exposure to overseas subsidiaries
Requirements
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in accountancy or higher accounting ACCA.
- Prefer a minimum 2-year experience in accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Resourceful and able to work independently
- Possess good analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as ability to multi-task
- Possess strong work ethics, good initiatives, and a process-improvement mindset
- Hands-on and self-motivated team-player
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, to perform the core job duties accurately and to prioritize and deliver within tight deadlines
- Able to start work immediately or on short notice (Preferred but not essential)
