Front Office:
- Supervises and coordinates the daily operations of the front office department to ensure the smooth delivery of guest service in accordance with the department's service standards and procedures
- Managing rooms inventory and monitoring room types availability as to ensure guests preference are met to its maximum
- Coordinate resources and work assignments, maintains accurate room status information and handles operational irregularities.
- Coordinate, communicate and follow-up with all other operating departments (e.g. housekeeping, engineering) to ensure smooth daily operations for check in and check out
- Participate in daily briefings, roll calls and training
- Co-ordinate with Reception and Duty Manager on daily operations
- Provides excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and implementing improvements based on guest feedback
- Monitors service responses, provides information and recommendations to guests, resolves guest concerns and feedback and builds rapport to uphold service excellence
- Tracks guest satisfaction and department data and implements service innovation, improvement and sustainability plans for continuous improvement
- Coordinate and participate in meet and greet of VIP guests upon arrival
- Assists in the check-ins and check-outs of VIP guests and large groups
- Learn from experienced team members about Guest Relations, Duty Management, and other front-of-house roles
- Collaborate effectively with the Front Office team to maintain high standards
- Perform rooming duties and generate accurate reports
Housekeeping:
- Maintain effective room turnaround and uphold cleanliness and facilities of hotel rooms
- Ensure cleaning standards are maintain
- Ensure clean and well-stocked guest rooms
- Spot and attend to soiled linen and provisions
Food & Beverage Service (F&B Service):
- Set and maintain the highest service standards by always extending warm welcome and greet guest with a smile and in a friendly and polite manner upon their arrival
- Usher guests to the allocated table and seat guests carefully
- Present menu to guest, recommend menu items and thank guests upon completion of taking orders
- Be attentive, anticipate guest needs and queries and deliver prompt service
- Listen to guest attentively and respond to them in an appropriate manner
- Build rapport, address guests personally, and extend exceptional service
- Handle all transactions with guest with a smile, calmly, professionally and always maintain a neat and tidy appearance
- Prepare for service (Mis-en-place) according to procedures
- Relay the order to the respective kitchen following procedures in the respective outlets using the micros system
- Pick up prepared food and serve it to guests accordingly
- Clear and reset counters or tables efficiently after each course
- Maintain a good rapport and working relationship with colleagues across all departments
- Maintain awareness of all F&B promotions in order to suggest and upsell promotional items to optimize revenue
- Provide a courteous and professional service at all times and portray good communication skills
