Job Title: Account Assistant/Executive
Location: Taiseng
Working Day: 3 Days in the Office, 2 Days working from home
Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: $2800-$3300 (Depends on experience)
Job Duties:
- Perform month-end closing activities timely and handle a full set of accounts independently
- Prepare management reports and audit schedules as well as draft financial statements
- AR duties – Preparing invoices and timely update of incoming receipts in the accounting system. Preparing Ageing reports and following up with customers on all outstanding payments. Assists in external and internal audits
- Upkeep of fixed asset register
- Review balance sheet reconciliation schedules monthly to ensure any reconciling items are investigated and resolved promptly
- Prepare profit and cash flow projections with assumptions
- Develop, maintain, and analyze forecasts and budgets
- AP duties – post invoices, prepare payments, check cash claims, and processing of payments
- File GST returns and corporate tax
- Liaise with the company secretary, tax agent, and internal and external auditors to ensure timely statutory reporting
- Perform stock-take and reconcile inventory
- Prepare variance analysis
- Any other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time
Job Requirements:
- ACCA / LCCI / recognized diploma in Accountancy or equivalent
- Minimally 3-5 years of relevant experience in the retail / healthcare industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with Navision and Hyperion preferably
- Highly analytical, self-motivated, meticulous, and process-driven
