The Role
Reporting to the Group Treasury Team Lead, you will monitor cash flow movement on a regular basis and perform all margining processes, including fund allocations, daily FX forecast and market price movements. Additionally, you will prepare management reports and assist in ad-hoc treasury projects and streamline processes where needed.
This person is pivotal to our growth strategy and requires someone interested to develop their career in group treasury work within the APAC regions.
Role Summary
· Perform daily cash management activities and ensure optimal levels of cash for daily operations
· Monitor exposure of business units to various currencies and the associated fluctuations. Advise on execution and hedging strategies
· Perform execution of FX hedging activities for HQ Treasury
· Perform Cashflow Forecasting over the short and medium term and coordinate with the Finance team for input
· Monitor the accuracy of actuals against the forecast and continuously refine the process to improve the quality of the forecast
· Perform Monthly & Quarterly Treasury Reporting including cash and working capital utilisation/forecast, as well as banking ancillary business reporting
· Drive process and system improvement projects for Treasury reporting and cashflow forecasting.
· Perform any other task as assigned by the management from time to time
The Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in accountancy/ finance/ economics.
· 3 years of regional treasury experience in the commodity, green energy, oil & gas, manufacturing or/and logistics industry is required
· Excellent verbal / written communication skills in Mandarin to communicate with our Chinese counterparts and stakeholders.
