Job Description:
- Cover all aspects of environmental management, demonstrate capability
- Assess the Contractor’s method statement and environmental submissions
- Inspect all environmental monitoring and control measures specified and advise improvements where necessary to mitigate impacts to the environment, biodiversity and human
- Support the SO as an environmental advisory role
- Conduct environmental site inspections
- Conduct environmental performance audits
- Review environmental monitoring and management regime
- Review implementation of environmental protection measures
- Advise remediation actions for contingency scenarios
- Liaise their requirements and advise the SO on the implementation
- Consultation with relevant statutory authorities, where appropriate
- Visual examination of worksite to examine working practices, environmental effects, mitigation measures and monitoring activities
- Any other submissions required for the project.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in main contractor environment for civil and structure projects/fresh graduate with good profile will be considered
- Degree in Environmental Engineering
- Experience in conducting assessment, management and monitoring of environment impacts arising from construction projects
