Job Description & Requirement
The successful candidate would be a Engineering service provider to assist in updating Standardized PMO (Plant Maintenance Order) instruction for various repairs and Overhaul Processes such as:
1. Onsite representative to liaise closely with OEMs Manufacturing Engineering team on standardization of work instruction and template formation for each process.
2. Engineering team to assist internal approval mechanisms post completion and review of released instruction with OEM’s Manufacturing Engineering team.
3. Supplier engineering to consider various sources of input while finalization of draft and generate Standard format for PMO instruction for respective process. This input needs to refer Engine Manuals, SPM or OP Task from Engine Manuals, RTV/ SB/ NMSB released document, FAIR and Inspection plans released during approval, Data cards/Quality Forms/ Shop floor SOPs during drafting.
• HSE – Practice full compliance to Health, Safety & Environmental Standards and meet the expectations of the Zero Harm programme.
• Product Safety – Understand product safety risks and work on mitigation to meet the required safety levels supporting requirements of the Company’s Safety Management System.
• Quality – Perform investigation on Engines/Modules and piece part level (including component repair) rejected from service. Produce Technical Summary on strip findings and work performed on Engines and Modules including investigation. Support findings review & provide technical disposition to problems.
• Lean/Improvements – Identify opportunities for new or improved manufacturing processes to meet current or future requirements. Identify, capture and share best practice; capture and utilize lessons learned working closely with Operation & Cell Manufacturing Engineers.
• Lead – Act as Technical Authority for engineering during the shift using standards set to make quick/prompt technical decisions in relation to the area of accountability.
• Delivery – Manage related technical variances of con-conformances during operational processes. Review and resolve promptly to ensure operational flow on technical issues/problems/arising’s to meet operation requirements.
• Delivery – Workspace creep management control that deviates from standard including Work Instructions Clarification. Support FAIR, MSA and time study activities in shift.
• Bachelor Degree or equivalent relevant experience in an Aerospace/ Mechanical engineering environment.
• Minimally 8 to 10 years’ experience in a similar capacity work.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word and Excel) and Adobe (PDF).
• Good problem-solving skills and Right First-Time attitude.
• Meticulous to details, responsible and a team player.
• Experience of Technical Review of deliverables Excellent written and verbal communication skills Work.
• Proactive and good team worker. Able to co-ordinate with offshore teams.
