Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline the release process and improve system reliability.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, availability, and scalability.
- Implement and manage containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Ensure security best practices are followed in the DevOps processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
- Create and maintain documentation related to infrastructure, processes, and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our DevOps practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- must have at least 8+ years of experience of which at least 4 years of DevOps Platform Engineering related role
- Proven experience as a DevOps Developer or similar role in a software development environment.
- Experience in Infrastructure Code Design, Development, Testing, Deployment and Continuous Improvement using Chef, Chef Automate, Chef InSpec, Ansible ,Puppet
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, load balancing, and firewalls.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.
- Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with serverless computing and related services.
- Knowledge of database management and optimization.
- Experience with agile and DevOps methodologies.
