Position Overview:
As the Founding Preschool Principal, you will be the cornerstone of our flagship preschool. You will be responsible for establishing and leading a premier early childhood education program that sets the standard for excellence. Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Vision
- Develop and implement a comprehensive educational vision that aligns with our mission and values.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
- Lead and inspire a team of educators and staff, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
Curriculum and Instruction
- Design and oversee a cutting-edge, developmentally appropriate curriculum that promotes cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
- Ensure the integration of best practices in early childhood education.
- Monitor and evaluate educational programs to maintain and improve quality.
Operational Management
- Oversee daily operations, including staffing, budgeting, and facilities management.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure a safe, nurturing, and effective learning environment.
Community Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with families, local community members, and stakeholders.
- Promote the preschool’s mission and vision through effective communication and outreach.
- Organize and participate in events and activities that enhance the school’s presence in the community.
Qualifications:
- Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Leadership, or approved alternatives
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong understanding of early childhood education best practices, regulatory requirements and curriculum development
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing educational teams will be a plus
