Roles & Responsibilities:-
· The warehouse supervisor has to supervise all the work that goes on in the warehouse.
· He has to coordinate with the Warehouse Manager on the delivery/receiving date and make arrangements for the goods to be stored away.
· He has to train workers in the work procedures and monitor the workers carry out the work correctly.
· He has to ensure that safety & security measures for the warehouse is at the highest standard.
· Interpreting company policies to workers and enforcing safety regulations. Ensure all Storekeepers follow Work Safe Practices.
· Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the warehouse.
· To ensure all Reach trucks & equipment are in good working condition.
· Able to coordinate daily work activities & prepare all customers’ orders for deliveries.
· Organize and maintain Goods Inventory records and maximize storage areas.
· Plan & Organize to deploy Storekeepers in their daily work assignments effectively.
· Monitor & supervise daily work activities. Ensure all Storekeepers follow strictly to working hours & break-time.
· They have to arrange for the goods to be unloaded and safely stored away in the correct Cold-room location.
· Recommend & implement measures to improve quality of service. Increase efficiency & good communication between inter-departments.
· Continuously improve warehouse operations through correct work and safe practices.
· Maintain good recording keeping for work activities & equipment.
· To perform any other ad-hoc duties as & when required by Superior.
