About the role
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team in Singapore to support our global operations. You will be part of the Product team, working cross functionally with the Client Services and Engineering teams. This role will be multi-faceted and you will have the opportunity to develop and carve out areas of expertise over time.
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for testing, monitoring and reporting of the overall quality and performance of the platform (Quality Assurance) and escalation of any issues.
- For new feature development:
- Devise, perform and coordinate testing strategies for both user acceptance and regression
- On an ongoing basis for existing features
- Prepare tests scripts for test automation.
- Daily monitoring and review of automated testing, platform performance, infrastructure and systems.
- Analyze, investigate and perform any necessary escalation.
- Perform data quality analysis and control processes and contribute to increased automation.
- Provide assurance to DevSecOps workflows and processes and work closely with the engineering team to effectively monitor, control and enforce compliance to technology risk management policies and procedures.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation, keeping up with the latest trends, tools and methodologies in QA.
What we look for:
Must haves:
· University degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or related field.
· Hands on experience with test automation tools and frameworks, particularly the Karate test suite for API testing and automation.
· Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, best practices, tools and processes.
· Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java etc.
· Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to analyse complex systems
· High attention to detail and accuracy in testing processes and documentation.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desirable:
· Interest in the financial services industry with some knowledge and understanding of corporate finance / financial markets
· English and French language fluency
· Internships or work experience in a similar role would be favourable
· Experience with data quality analysis and control processes
