Astek is proposing an opportunity for Mid-level Data Analyst to support our Project based in Singapore.
Responsibilities
- Collecting and analyzing large data sets using statistical and data visualization tools
- Supporting project and data management activities in the Investment Cluster
- Identifying patterns, trends, and correlations in data to inform business decisions
- Developing and maintaining databases, data systems, and data analytics tools
- Understand the day-to-day issues that our business faces, which can be better understood with data
- Using statistical techniques, data analysts analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that can provide valuable insights for decision-making.
- Compile and analyze data related to business' issues
- Develop clear visualizations to convey complicated data in a straightforward fashion
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent experience.
- 3 - 7 years' Data Analysis experience in data management, data analysis, user/business requirements analysis and enhancement, data analytics and visualization.
- Experience with Data Modeling and Data Warehousing, strong data analysis and modeling skills
- Proficient in SQL, Tableau, Python or R.
- Experience working with business intelligence/data visualization tool using Tableau, PowerBI.
- Experience with the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) implementation methodology and/or Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.
- Good understanding of the principles, key controls and processes relating to data management as well as data modelling and data integration.
- Good in handling dynamic project tasks in an data warehouse transformation project.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a proactive attitude towards learning new technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
