Job Description
Responsibilities
- Implement appropriate safety measures in accordance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act and its subsidiary regulations.
- Maintain and update all WSH records, certificates and reports in accordance with WSH legislation.
- Ensure compliance with the company’s and clients' safety requirements
- Site inspection and conduct safety meeting
- Report and investigate accidents and incidents at sites.
- Participate in internal audits and review of Safety Management System
- Coordinate and advise various project team members on safety requirements.
- Perform construction site safety inspections, monitor and review all safety issues and support to the project manager.
- Advice and consultation to maintain a safe working environment in compliance with environmental safety regulations, standards and practices.
- Advise the site staff on all matters related to safety issues.
- Ensure all safety matters have complied with statutory, contractual and management systems requirements.
- Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned from time to time as your superior/management deem fit.
Requirements:
- Min Secondary/Nitec/Diploma / Degree in Engineering or its equivalent
- At least 2 years of working experience in WSH-related fields or equivalent in construction industry.
- Posses Biz safe Level 2 and WAH Assessor / Supervisor Cert
- Able to start work immediately is an advantage.
- Able to work in multiple worksites.
