Client Executive Corporate Banking, Singapore
We are looking for an experienced business-driven talent to join our Singapore Corporate Banking Team as a Client Executive. In this role, you will be responsible for a portfolio of home market clients, prospects, and their businesses in primarily Southeast Asia.
SEB has been present in Singapore for more than 40 years, and we currently have about 90 colleagues, ensuring a strong and continuously improved offering to match our clients’ needs in the region. In addition to corporate banking, SEB Singapore is the home of our financial institutions’ coverage, fixed-income currencies and commodities, shipping finance, private wealth management, and family Office International colleagues. Additionally, SEB Singapore is the support hub for SEB in Shanghai and Hong Kong and a global hub for Trade Finance Operations.
About the role:
As a Client Executive, you will be responsible for your portfolio of clients and prospects, consisting of subsidiaries of home market clients. As Singapore is a global and regional goods trading hub, Trade Finance and Cash Management are essential products in our offering. Hence, all staff members on the team must have a keen interest in and knowledge of these products.. In addition to these products, a good understanding of various financing solutions in combination with working capital management and FX solutions is essential. The Client Executive will also be part of the global product communities to ensure seamless communication with the home market colleagues and to retain the knowledge of SEB’s offering up to date.
This role is based in Singapore, and you will report to the Head of Corporate Banking in Singapore.
Requirements
- At least 5-8 years of working experience in large corporate and financial institutions.
- Relevant university degree or equivalent work experience within large corporate and financial institutions, as well as an excellent track record of delivering above expectations.
- High level of energy to individually drive sales and advisory in a multicultural environment.
- Relevant product competence in Trade Finance, Cash Management, Working capital financing solutions, and loans.
- Ability to easily form new relationships with customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders on all seniority levels.
- Extensive experience in direct customer interactions.
- Due to the portfolio, you must have excellent verbal and written English language skills and fluency in at least one of the Nordic languages.
