- Achieve and exceed the site’s budgeted trading targets.
- Ensure customers adhere to contract payment terms.
- Identify, implement, and manage consigned stocks within contractual commitments.
- Ensure the health and safety of staff, visitors, and self, promoting safety in line with company and customer Health and Safety policies and procedures. Report all non-conformance cases.
- Stay aware of and ensure compliance with all applicable company management systems, policies, and procedures.
- Deliver customer contractual commitments, including Price and Engineering Benefit Savings, Customer-Owned Inventory Reduction, and Logistical Cost Reduction.
- Provide Company and customer management teams with required reports, Key Performance Indicators, and feedback for effective planning, budgeting, and performance management within agreed timeframes.
- Use preferred sources of supply where possible, develop supplier relationships to minimize costs within agreed service level commitments when supply chain agreements are not in place.
- Ensure team members have clearly defined roles and objectives, and are developed and motivated to achieve required performance standards.
- Prepare monthly engineering reports.
- Support site audits.
- Work closely with customer engineers to support maintenance planning and scheduling.
- Manage master data on customer CMMS (Centralized Maintenance Management System).
- Execute change requests.
Requirements:
- Possess at least a diploma in engineering or supply chain management; relevant job experience will be considered.
- Minimum of two years of business development or management experience in a demanding customer-facing industrial environment.
- Knowledge of industrial consumables/MRO market and products, and their applications.
- Proficient in Windows-based programs and fully integrated systems for sales order processing and stock management.
- Experience with enterprise systems, e.g., SAP.
