Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Early Years Educational Therapist with a strong background in behavioural management to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical and communication skills and will play a critical role in developing and implementing individualised therapeutic and educational programmes for our young learners.
Responsibilities:
- Teach in a one-on-one, dyad and group setting.
- Utilize evidence-based teaching and therapeutic methods, adapting approaches as needed to meet the diverse needs of our students.
- Design and incorporate various support materials to facilitate programmes and to support learning and assessments.
- Be familiar with positive reinforcement and behavioural management strategies.
- Design and deliver tailored intervention strategies to support toddlers and preschoolers with autism spectrum disorders, developmental delays, dyslexia, ADHD, disruptive behaviour disorders, social skills deficits, and other learning challenges.
- Engage actively with parents and caregivers, providing them with valuable insights, strategies, and support to reinforce learning and development goals at home.
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students’ strengths, areas for improvement, and progress over time.
- Create a positive, stimulating, and supportive learning environment that encourages children to reach their developmental and academic potential.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, Child Development, or a related field.
- Certification or specialized training in behavioural management strategies preferred (e.g., applied behavior analysis).
- Experience working with children diagnosed with autism, developmental delays, and other learning disabilities.
- Strong analytical skills to assess children’s needs and monitor their progress.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and professionals.
- A compassionate, patient, and innovative approach to early childhood education and therapy.
- Have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as a positive team member
