Job Description & Requirements
- Assist PM for the execution of contracts progress.
- Preparation, checking and submission of shop drawings, catalogues and calculations.
- Prepare project schedules and forecasts.
- Work out bill of materials and engineering deliverables.
- Co-ordinate with clients, consultations, subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of work schedule.
- Co-ordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and own teams for implementation of the projects and ensuring it is being built correctly.
- Monitoring and carrying out quality check on progressive completed work and make recommendation for effective project management.
- Assist PM for project controls, budgeting and planning.
- Assist PM with regard to design and project execution of one or more simultaneous projects in accordance with project general specifications, particular specifications, technical specifications and drawings, etc.
- Develop method of statements and testing procedures for the works.
- Develop project status/ progress reports.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Attend progress/ technical meetings.
- Write reports and documentations.
- Effective communication between engineering, technical, construction, and project control groups.
- Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards.
- Assist PM on all other project administrative matters.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent
- At least 2 years relevant working experience in local construction industry
- Preferred to have A&A relevant project experienced
- Preferred to have precast design experienced
- Good interpersonal and communication skill
- Able to start work immediately/within a short notice period will be preferred
- Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight project schedules
- Good interpersonal skills and positive working attitude
