As the Regional Business Controller Construction & Facility, you are the finance business partner to the C&F organization for markets and brands in your region. You identify opportunities to optimize our investments and operating costs and improve the balance between cost and quality. You are responsible for risk management, budgeting and follow-up, trend analysis, prognosis and reporting. You drive improvements and actions in processes, methods and tools.
You have strong analytical skills and the ability to structure data. You can define effective long-term plans in line with the vision and strategy for the department. You work strategically and have a multibrand and multichannel perspective. You are good at conceptualizing ideas and defining conclusions with supporting arguments. Key responsibilities
- Set regional goals, develop and improve the regional C&F and controlling strategies, contribute to procurement, energy, NCG material, and sustainability strategies, support sales market C&F organization with budgeting and forecasting, provide necessary tools, and continuously enhance budget accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Act as a finance business partner to the regional C&F organization, identify optimization opportunities, develop and implement efficiency methods, manage financial control systems, and ensure comprehensive cost follow-up for total C&F costs including Capex, Opex, reactive and scheduled costs, FM20 and SP10 costs.
- Set and implement controlling routines and analysis methods for Project and Facility Project Managers, secure reporting requirements at all levels, proactively analyze and evaluate departmental performance against goals, prepare and communicate regular reporting packages.
- Ensure adherence to guidelines and drive process improvements to mitigate business risks, while maintaining high-level financial transparency and clear delineation of team responsibilities and approval rights.
- Collaborate effectively with regional stakeholders to align work methods and assist the sales market C&F organization in preparing business cases for various store Capex and Opex projects.
