Responsibilities
- Independently solves problems in broad, complex, and unique networks with mixed environments. Supports engineers from multiple teams as well as the field and aids them in problem resolution.
- Acts as a focal point for large account network problem resolution and provides technical leadership for Critical Accounts where Cisco is at risk.
- Effectively manage the current and future requirement for Cisco lab to debug broad and complex problems.
- Content Development Write Techzone, CCO (White Papers), contribute to Cisco engineering community to simplify the support experience for customers.
- Engineering Partnership Drive improvement in product Serviceability, New Product/Feature Incubation, Field Quality/Top Issues etc.
- Talent Development Conduct Training Programs/Mentoring for Technical Consulting Engineers.
Essential Requirements (Skills & Language Requirements)
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
- 6 years of technical experience.
- CCNA, CCNP, CCIE or equivalent certification.
- Proficient in Japanese Language.
- Minimum JLPT1 to liase with our Japanese speaking customers.
Technical / Professional Skills
- Hands on experience on Telepresence, CUCM, MS, VCS, Voice communications manager and hardware.
- Creating tailored architecture to customers for third party integrations.
- Troubleshooting Video and Voice related issue for Telepresence Calls.
- Troubleshooting and configuration on CUCM, IMP, Unity Connection, Expressways and Gateways.
- Configuration and solving issues related to CUCM, TMS, TPS, Conductor, CMS.
- Telepresence endpoints to enable voice and video calling.
- Configuration and Troubleshooting of Mobile and Remote Access on Expressway-Core, Expressway-Edge, CUCM and DNS Servers.
- Configuration and Troubleshooting for Cisco Telepresence Immersive and Non-Immersive devices to enable telepresence call capability.
- Handling team and pertaining training to the team with new skills.
- Handling escalations for CAP and RRR customer accounts.
- Working as mediator between partners and BU for defect and research related issues.
- Working on Tech zone for creating technical documents which can be taken as reference at the time of troubleshooting.
- Working on the IC-Digitization to automate the issue detection from the logs automatically.
- Giving Process and Product training for new joiners and make them competent.
