Responsibilities:
- Take full responsibility for business development operations, including achieving and increasing sales targets and expanding the business.
- Gather and understand customers' exact requirements to meet and exceed their expectations.
- Train and mentor newly recruited staff on sales techniques and operational duties.
- Ensure the quality of fabric purchases and categorize fabrics effectively.
- Promote various fabrics including Chiffon, Cotton Silk, Polyester, Synthetic, etc.
- Stay updated on the latest designs and negotiate effectively with suppliers.
- Maintain a positive and helpful demeanor to assist customers and improve business relations.
- Develop and enhance existing business strategies to boost sales.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management from a MOM recognized Singapore institution. An Advanced Diploma in Business Management from a Singapore institution is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the textile and ready-made garments industry, especially in Indian Traditional Ladies Dresses.
- Proficiency in identifying and working with fabrics like Chiffon, Cotton Silk, Polyester, Synthetic, etc.
- Experience in negotiating with suppliers and managing trade deals.
- Knowledge of import and export processes for fabric products.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly disposition towards customers.
- Basic knowledge of computer systems and proficiency in Tally accounts software.
