What is this role about?
Our Curriculum Consultant is responsible for McGraw Hill’s Core educational products serving Grades K-12, by providing thorough product training and presentations to prospective customers to drive increased sales revenue.
This role delivers end-to-end solution consulting in education design and implementation to ensure end users maximize the value of our services.
A typical day might include:
- Fostering relationships and leveraging knowledge to increase sales.
- Making highly effective presentations of our products to potential customers.
- Conducting professional development and in-service training of all products for new and current users.
- With a strategic mindset, demonstrating a thorough understanding of all products and translate insightful, comprehensive market research to understand the needs of the market and turn them into feedback on sales and marketing planning and product development.
- Collaborate within Sales, Marketing and Product Development to bring the voice of the customer to everything you do, and drive revenue, sales support planning, and execution efforts based on a strong understanding of the customer and competitive landscape and our opportunities for differentiation.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Minimum 3 years of teaching/curriculum consulting experience in English language education field preferably with CCSS and/or NGSS
- Proficient in modern methodological teaching approaches and pedagogies
- Previous experience with K-12 curriculum development and selection.
- Previous teaching experience with McGraw Hill K-12 programs.
- The ability to develop rapport with an audience while effectively and strategically responding to audience questions.
- Professional presentation skills with ability to design customized solution presentations and trainings to gain and fulfil subject departmental interest and needs.
The Curriculum Consultant must be hands-on and detail-oriented, and able to deliver results in a fast-paced environment. This person must have strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. This individual will be a team player who is well versed in the details.
