Due to ongoing project requirements, PM Group Singapore is looking to hire a Cost Engineer/Estimator to join our team.
Primary Job Functions
- Cost Reporting of capital expenditure projects (equipment & construction) including PM Group fees and sub-consultants
- Management of our Change Control procedures and tools and associated deliverables
- Management of our PM Group Man-hour Control and Productivity Measurement procedures and tools and associated deliverables
- Processing Contractor, Vendor and Sub-consultant invoices and payments for multiple Projects
- Receive, sort and reconcile invoices and supporting documentation against purchase order terms and conditions, payment milestones and goods receipt notifications
- Distribute and track invoices to various Project owners / leads across multiple projects for approval
- Perform Supplier account reconciliations and work with Purchasing Team and Suppliers to resolve any issues
- Responds to and resolve enquiries from Suppliers, Procurement, and Finance departments in a professional and timely manner
- Preparation of monthly statements and reconciliation of accounts for month end Reporting
- Take ownership of designated tasks and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in the Purchasing or Project Controls department
- Ability to regularly interact with staff, management and clients to provide or obtain related information
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Strong work ethic, sense of responsibility and confidentiality
- An organised self-starter who is attentive to detail and able to work independently
- Ability to prioritise work and manage multiple tasks, likely with competing priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to contribute effectively within a team environment
- Able to maintain a professional demeanour in challenging situations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
