As part of our dynamic growth strategy, we are seeking a highly skilled professional to join us as a Recruitment Consultant. This role is crucial to our expansion efforts, spanning both local and overseas markets, and is central to our strategic success.
As a Recruitment Consultant at Global Alliance Recruitment Pte Ltd, you will be at the forefront of driving business growth and expanding our client base within the competitive recruitment industry. Your role will encompass identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building robust relationships with clients, and promoting our exceptional recruitment services. You must be proficient in Tamil, Telugu, and English to effectively liaise with overseas, clients and candidates from diverse backgrounds, particularly from India, Malaysia and Sri Lanka. This position involves frequent overseas travel for recruitment purposes, making it a demanding yet rewarding opportunity.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Business Development:Proactively identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and leveraging existing industry contacts.
2. Client Relationship Management:Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their recruitment needs and delivering tailored solutions.
3. Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, competitive activities, and potential business expansion avenues.
4. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet revenue targets and business objectives.
5. Proposal Preparation:Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients, highlighting the unique value of our recruitment services.
6. Negotiation and Closing:Negotiate terms and contracts with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements and successful deal closures.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including recruiters and account managers, to ensure seamless delivery of recruitment services and exceed client expectations.
8. Reporting: Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and market insights to senior management.
9.Industry Focus:Specialise in recruiting for sectors such as Construction, Security, Information Technology (IT), Service Sector, Manufacturing, Healthcare, and Hospitality, where local & foreign talent are frequently employed.
10.Regional Focus:Develop expertise in recruiting candidates from various Asian countries, including India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, and other key markets, to meet the diverse needs of our clients.
11. Language Proficiency: Communicate effectively in Tamil, Telugu, and English to overcome language barriers and ensure clear communication with overseas agent, candidates, and clients.
10. Frequent Travel: Be prepared for extensive travel overseas for recruitment purposes, client meetings, and business development activities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
1. Education: Master’s degree in any field or equivalent work experiences preferred.
2. Certification / License: Ministry of Manpower (MOM) Certified in Certificate of Employment Intermediaries (CEI) – Key Appointment Holder (KAH).
3. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable track record in business development, recruitment, HR, or similar roles.
4. Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the recruitment industry landscape, HR practices, trends, and best practices.
5. Legal Knowledge and Compliance Areas: Strong knowledge of the Employment Act, Employment of Foreign Manpower Act, Employment Agencies Regulatory Framework, TAFEP/Fair Consideration Framework, Central Provident Fund Act, Contract Law, Competition Act, Immigration Act, Work Injury Compensation Act, Prevention of Human Trafficking Act & Personal Data Protection Act.
6. Networking Skills:Excellent networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence key decision-makers.
7. Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, adept at articulating value propositions effectively.
8. Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills with the ability to drive win-win outcomes and secure deals within the HR context.
9. Results-Driven: Highly motivated and target-oriented, with a proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
10. Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a willingness to adapt to evolving market conditions.
11. Technology Proficiency:Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software for sales tracking and reporting purposes.
