Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare, monitor, and manage project budgets and cost plans.
· Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
· Evaluate and manage subcontractor and supplier contracts, including preparation and negotiation.
· Oversee and ensure accurate and timely submission of interim valuations and final accounts.
· Conduct cost value reconciliation and forecasting.
· Provide financial progress reports to management and stakeholders.
· Assess, value, and negotiate variations and change orders.
· Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
· Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to achieve project objectives.
· Lead and mentor junior quantity surveyors and other team members.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with at least 3 years in structural steel projects.
· Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and cost control procedures.
· Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Short notice will be preferred.
