Job Description
Our Client is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in cloud infrastructure and team management, particularly within the financial sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with CloudFormation and Terraform. This role is crucial for simplifying the integration of new projects, supporting existing operations, and upgrading trading platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
● Design and implement scalable and secure AWS cloud infrastructure using CloudFormation and Terraform.
● Develop and maintain infrastructure and services necessary for the integration of new financial projects.
● Support and enhance the infrastructure for existing operations to ensure high availability and performance.
● Lead a team of engineers to implement and manage the above-mentioned infrastructure and services.
● Automate deployment processes using AWS CodePipeline and Jenkins to ensure consistent and reliable application deployments.
● Utilize AWS Lambda to deploy monitoring solutions for high-risk cloud scenarios.
● Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and continuous delivery of new features.
● Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize infrastructure for maximum efficiency and security.
● Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the infrastructure and processes.
● Maintain data services including S3, Aurora, RDS, Redis, EFS, MSK.
Qualifications
● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
● Experience:
● Over 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure management and DevOps.
● Proven experience with AWS services and IaC tools such as CloudFormation and Terraform.
● Experience in the financial industry is highly desirable.
● Skills:
● Strong proficiency in AWS cloud services and infrastructure automation.
● Deep understanding of IaC principles and hands-on experience with CloudFormation and Terraform.
● Proficient in CI/CD tools such as AWS CodePipeline and Jenkins.
● Ability to deploy and manage monitoring solutions using AWS Lambda.
● Expertise in AWS best practices and high availability infrastructure setup.
● Experienced in managing data services like S3, RDS, Redis, MSK, Aurora.
● Demonstrated ability to execute complex cross-region migrations within strict timelines.
● Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
● Strong leadership and team management skills.
● Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
● Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
● Other Requirements:
● Ability to design and implement highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure.
● Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
● Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards in the cloud environment.

● Proven track record of successfully leading and mentoring a team of engineers in implementing and maintaining sophisticated infrastructure solutions.
● Expertise in integrating new financial projects and optimizing infrastructure to support the dynamic and rapidly evolving nature of the financial industry.
● Extensive experience with AWS, CloudFormation, Terraform, AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, and AWS Lambda, making you an expert in cloud infrastructure automation and monitoring.
