Summary:
We are hiring for a Software Engineer responsible for building Fusion web applications or ADF applications with Oracle ADF and Java. The primary responsibility will be to design and develop these applications under both waterfall & Agile models, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Thus, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and product quality is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement custom & interactive databound web applications and software solutions around Oracle Fusion environment.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand data models and business processes.
- Gather requirements from stakeholders to design and develop interactive web applications and software solutions that meet business needs.
- Develop, customize, and maintain Oracle Fusion reports using BI Publisher, OTBI, and other reporting tools.
- Design and optimize SQL queries and data models to extract data from Oracle Fusion applications.
- Develop and maintain data visualizations and dashboards using Oracle BI tools.
- Conduct unit testing and support user acceptance testing for developed reports.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for production reports and resolve any issues in a timely manner.
- Stay updated with the latest Oracle Fusion technologies and best practices in reporting and analytics.
Requirement:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant studies.
- 5 to 10 years of experience as Java Developer with proven experience & expertise in Oracle Fusion web applications or ADF applications development using Java, J2EE, XML, XQuery, WebLogic, and etc.
- At least 3 years’ hands-on software development experience using Oracle Application Development Framework (Oracle ADF) that simplifies the development of interactive, databound web applications i.e Fusion web applications or ADF applications.
- Deep knowledge and hands on experience with Weblogic, Fusion Middleware server integration (configuration) and administration. Experienced in troubleshoot issues at the servers.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle API development and integration practices.
- Familiarity with Java GUI frameworks and web application frameworks.
- Hands on experience with Oracle database and deep knowledge on SQL/PLSQL.
- Experienced in n-tier architecture and able to demonstrate the skills.
