Responsibilities
The person in this position will handle all back-end operation tasks relating to sales.
The candidate will report to the Manager and will be responsible for the following activities.
- Manage product line up based on customers or market requirement.
- Collecting and analyzing historical data using statistical tools to forecast demand for different products
- Placing purchase orders with suppliers to replenish stock.
- Minimize Out-of-stock by actively monitoring stock inventory.
- Work closely with supplier to ensure profitability for stock items, propose strategies to reduce costs.
- Work closely with supplier for timely delivery and expediate when necessary.
- Maintenance or update product master database.
- Work with other departments on product related activities such as product discount, quality check etc.
- Collate statistics and generate reports.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in any discipline,
- 1-3 years relevant B2B industrial sales support experience.
- Experience in Stock Management.
- Good analytical and logistical thinking abilities.
- Possess high energy and result oriented.
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
- Good time management skills and team player
- Competent in MS Office, MS Access skills are required, Advance skill level for Excel
- Able to understand basic technical term in product drawing.
