Responsibilities:
- Drive and execute strategies to increase growth size of agency force in increasing and sustaining agency sales and market share
- Organic growth through improving recruitment participation rate and competency among all leader and producer ranks, increasing uptake of management career from producer ranks
- Further penetrate and develop new markets for recruitment
- Recruitment of experienced leaders and planners
- Drive and execute strategies to improve sales production of new recruits in their first year of contract
- Create necessary performance based incentives to motivate recruiters and recruits towards sales performance
- Work together with training department/ centre to develop training and development courses to improve sales performance of new recruits
- Work together with business development units to manage activity and performance of new recruits
- Performance management of KPIs towards achieving recruitment goals
- Establish and re-assess appropriate performance measurements at various stages of recruitment process
- Annual forecast of target for performance measurements in order to attain recruitment goals, and re-assess targets when necessary
- Monitor performance measurements and take appropriate action to attain targets
- Tactical management of recruitment performance
- Work with business development units to monitor performance and take appropriate action
- Create and drive tactical incentives and initiatives as necessary
- Communication on recruitment at various communication platforms
- Drive the development of career branding and presence:
- Recruitment events
- Marketing brochures & Exhibition collaterals
- Print ads
- Career presentation software
- Other below the line publicity/ advertising efforts
- Lead the budgeting, tracking and controlling process of manpower development budget so that spending and investments are within control to achieve the department’s objective. This will involve collaboration with other departments such as Distribution Management Department, Distribution Governance and Group Finance.
- Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
- Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
- Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.
Requirements
- A recognized degree or higher educational qualifications
- At least 3-5 years working experience, preferably with agency management or insurance business development experience
- Sociable, driven and meticulous personality
- Good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
- Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
