Location: Kranji
Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 9.00am – 6.30pm
Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure favorable terms for the company.
- Monitor and assess supplier performance, ensuring quality, delivery.
- Continuously seek new suppliers to expand the vendor pool and reduce supply chain risk.
- Resolve supplier-related issues and disputes promptly.
- Source and purchase semiconductor materials, spare parts, equipment, and services in line with customers’ schedules.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to support operations.
- Collaborate with quality control and engineering teams to ensure that purchased components and materials meet quality standards.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives and value engineering efforts to reduce procurement costs without compromising quality.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and price fluctuations in the semiconductor industry.
- Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation plans to ensure continuity of supply.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier communications.
Requirements
- Min. Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field
- Min. 1-2 years’ experience in purchasing or procurement within the semiconductor or tech manufacturing environment.
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
- Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and components.
- Experienced with SAP system
