Responsibilities:
- Design, capture and layout digital, analog, high speed, mixed-signal electronic circuits
- Conduct and attend design reviews with peers and seniors
- Liaise with external PCB and PCBA vendors to prototype designs
- Source and obtain the required electronic components for PCBA
- Perform Design Verification Testing for prototypes
- Work with Mechanical/Firmware/Software team members to realize product
Requirements:
- At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering/ Computer Engineering
- A minimum experience of 2 years for junior position, 5 years for senior position.
- Ability perform electronic design (digital, high speed, mixed-signal, analog), schematic capture and layout using Altium Designer
- Ability to write simple firmware in C for testing prototypes
- Experienced with 8-bit, 16-bit and 32-bit MCUs and SOCs
- Experienced with various protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, USB, BLE, CAN
- Knowledge of EMC and RF best practices in layout
- Knowledge with SVN, best practices in firmware coding an advantage
